Manage project assets with Creative Cloud Libraries

The CC Libraries panel in InDesign provides centralized access to your Creative Cloud Libraries, syncing assets across devices when you use the same Adobe ID. It allows you to create, view, rename, and delete libraries, as well as add, edit, organize, and manage assets efficiently. You can also sort and browse assets within each library, ensuring consistent and streamlined design workflows across projects.

Open a Creative Cloud library

Select Window > CC Libraries.

Select the panel menu icon, then select Create new library.

Enter a name for the new library, then select Create.

Add assets to a library

Select the asset that you want to save, such as text, a graphic, or a color swatch.

Select Window > CC Libraries.

Select the Add elements icon, then select the asset type to automatically add the selected asset to the library. You can also drag assets directly from the document into the CC Libraries panel.

Use library assets in a document

Open the document where you want to use the asset.

Select Window > CC Libraries.

Locate the asset and drag it onto the document.

Invite people to edit or view your library

Select Window > CC Libraries.

Select the library that you want to share.

Select panel menu icon, then select Invite people.

Type the email addresses of the people that you want to invite. By default, the user is given edit access

Select Can edit drop-down menu, then select Can view & use to prevent editing of the library content.

Select Invite to edit or Invite to view & use.
