Learn about icon status and location in Adobe InDesign to monitor content availability and ownership in collaborative workflows.
Frame icons and panel indicators show editing status, ownership, and whether content is up to date. They appear in the Assignments and Links panels, on frames in Layout view, and in the story bar, with details shown on hover. Frame edges must be visible, and InDesign must be in Normal mode to view them.
