Learn how to remove interactivity from buttons by converting them into standard objects in Adobe InDesign.

Convert buttons to objects in InDesign to remove interactive properties while keeping the content. This removes actions, events, and appearance states, leaving standard objects on the page. Converting is permanent and useful when preparing documents for print or editing button content.

Select the button using the Selection tool.

Select Object > Interactive > Convert to Object.

Select OK.
