When you try to launch InDesign after installing the InDesign CC 2015.3 update on Windows, InDesign crashes. The report from Event Viewer identifies typekitC4.dll as the file causing the problem.

Follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issue:


  1. Download ReplaceTkDLL.zip and extract its contents to Desktop.

  2. Find and double-click CopyDLL.vbs from the extracted folder.

  3. Select the folder where Adobe InDesign CC 2015 is installed.

    Browse InDesign CC 2015 application folder
  4. Click OK.

  5. Launch InDesign.
