Experiencing issues when sharing documents for review? The solutions provided here should help.
Creative Cloud services are used to share documents for review and any issue that affects the cloud can affect sharing. However, other factors such as the OS of your computer, its hardware configuration and the workflow you choose can also prevent effective sharing of documents for review.
The following issues have been fixed in InDesign 16.2.1:
For all other issues, try the solutions below in the order they are listed. With each solution, pause and check to see if the issue is resolved and proceed no further.
Solution 1: Sign-out and sign-in to Creative Cloud.
Solution 2: Rename CoreSync folder, for example, as CoreSync1:
Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CoreSync1.
Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Sync\CoreSync1.
Solution 3: Rename CEP folder, for example, as CEP1:
Mac: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP1.
Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEP1.
Solution 4: Rename UXP folder, for example, as UXP1:
Mac: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/UXP1.
Windows: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\UXP1.
Solution 5: Uninstall InDesign and Creative Cloud Desktop application and reinstall.
If you have a lot of apps installed, unless you uninstall all of them, CC app can’t be uninstalled.
