Review a shared InDesign document

Learn how to review a shared InDesign document.

InDesign provides intuitive commenting tools that stakeholders can use to share their feedback. As a stakeholder, you can review the shared document when you receive:

  • A private link through a Creative Cloud notification and an email.
  • A public link through any of the communication channels.

Before you start commenting on a shared document, refresh the browser window to view the latest updates made to the design.

Review the document

If you're a stakeholder, you can add comments to the link shared with you on any device. You don't need an Adobe ID to add comments for a public link.

  1. Open the review link shared with you in any browser.

  2. Select the Comments   icon to add your comments and select Submit.

    You can also:

    • View, Reply to, and Resolve comments from other stakeholders. (if signed in with Adobe ID)
