Manage cloud documents

Last updated on Jul 28, 2026

Find available options for organizing, managing, and deleting cloud documents from the Adobe InDesign application.

When you need to organize your cloud documents, change their location, or remove files you no longer need, Adobe InDesign provides management options directly from the home screen. Access these options by selecting the Your files from the home screen, then right-clicking any cloud document or selecting its checkbox. Select the checkbox for each document to select and apply the actions to multiple cloud documents at once.

Upload documents

From the home screen, select Your files or Projects .

Select the Add , then select Upload .

Select any Adobe-supported file and then select Open. You can also hold Shift and select multiple files to upload.

Note

Uploading a local file automatically converts it into a cloud document.

Download cloud documents

From the home screen, select Your files or Projects .

Select the checkbox for one or more cloud documents, then select the Download option from the toast that appears. You can also select the ellipsis icon and then select Download .

Choose a location on your device to save the files.

Select Save. If you select more than six files, InDesign packages them into a single zip file for download. If you select six or fewer files, each file downloads individually.
