Draw frames

Last updated on Oct 27, 2025

Learn how to draw frames that mask images placed within them using the Frame tool in Adobe Photoshop.

In Photoshop, the Frame tool lets you create shapes that automatically mask and resize images placed inside them. The Frame tool offers various shapes, including rectangles, ellipses, triangles, custom options, and generative AI features. Frames help create layouts where you can place multiple images in specific shapes, such as photo collages or mockups.
