Learn how to transform text prompts into unique visuals in Adobe Photoshop.

Generate Image in Photoshop allows you to create new assets by converting text prompts into images. You can add effects to your creative compositions and match the style of a reference image to align the generated content with your design aesthetics.

Start with a blank Photoshop file or select the Frame   tool.

Select Generate Image in the Contextual Task Bar (Window > Contextual Task Bar).

Type a description of what content you want to generate in the prompt box that appears in the Generate Image dialog. Upload a reference image to control the style and composition of your results.

Select Generate .

Note

Generate Image deducts one standard generative credit per generation.

Select from the variations that appear in the Properties panel. The generated output appears in a separate generative layer in the Layers panel.

Adjust colors and details or add effects, as required.
