Export the contents of an embedded Smart Object

Learn how to save a Smart Object as a separate file in its original format so you can edit or reuse it outside Adobe Photoshop.
Select the Smart Object in the Layers panel.
Select Layer > Smart Objects > Export Contents.
Select a location on your computer and enter a file name.
Select Save to export the file.
Photoshop saves the Smart Object in its original format (JPEG, AI, TIFF, PDF, or others). If it was built from layers, it's saved as a PSB file.
