Learn how to download and import ABR brush files into Adobe Photoshop to expand your creative toolkit.
Photoshop supports ABR brush files, which can hold multiple brushes or brush packs in one file. Imported brushes and packs appear in your Brushes panel and expand your creative options.
Try it in the app
Use the Brush Settings panel to customize brushes in a few simple steps.
Select Get More Brushes from the Brushes panel menu to browse and download free brush packs from Adobe.
Double-click the downloaded ABR file with Photoshop open. The imported brushes are added to your Brushes panel and ready to use.
Select Import Brushes from the Brushes panel menu to load an ABR file.
Tip
To share your custom brushes, right-click the brush or group in the Brushes panel, select Export Selected Brushes, and save the set as an ABR file.
