Learn about Adobe Photoshop capabilities to process multiple files simultaneously, without creating an action.

The Image Processor (File > Scripts > Image Processor) allows you to convert files in a single operation and handle everyday batch processing tasks through a straightforward interface. Unlike the Batch command, it works directly without requiring an action.

With the Image Processor, you can:

  • Convert a set of files to JPEG, PSD, or TIFF format, or save them in all three formats simultaneously.
  • Process camera raw files using the same options.
  • Resize images to fit within specific pixel dimensions.
  • Embed a color profile or convert files to sRGB and save them as JPEG images for the web.
  • Include copyright metadata in the converted images.
