Manage preset styles

Learn how to create, rename, delete, and save preset styles.

Create a preset style

Select a layer in the Layers panel.

Select Add a layer style   icon and choose the desired layer effect from the dropdown list.

Note

To create a new preset style, you’ll need to select a default layer effect.

In the Layer Style dialog box, adjust layer effect settings to create the look you want to save.

Select New Style.

Enter a name and select OK in the New Style dialog.

Rename a preset style

Select Window > Styles.

Select the preset style you want to rename.

Double-click the preset style name and enter a new name.

Delete a preset style

Select Window > Styles.

Select the preset style you want to delete.

Select Delete style .

In the Delete style dialog, select OK.

Save a set of preset styles

Select Window > Styles.

Select the preset style you want to save as a library.

Select Export Selected Styles from the More options menu.

In the Save dialog, enter a name for the style library and choose a desired location.

Select Save.
