Create fill layers and add solid colors, gradients, or patterns as editable, non-destructive content with Adobe Photoshop.
Select Layer > New Fill Layer and choose one of these options:
- Solid color: Fills the layer with the current foreground color
- Gradient: Fills the layer with a gradient
- Pattern: Fills the layer with a pattern
Name the layer, set layer options, and press Enter (or Return on macOS).
