Learn how to draw lines and line segments as editable shapes or fixed pixels in Adobe Photoshop.
Draw lines as shapes (editable and scalable) or as pixels (fixed and not scalable) with the Line tool.
Keep the Shape mode selected from the Options bar to make the lines easy to edit and scalable.
To draw a line, select and drag anywhere on the canvas.
Select line color and stroke thickness from the Contextual Task Bar (Window > Contextual Task Bar).
You can also select Fill or Stroke options from the tool options bar or the Properties panel.
