Delete workspaces

Learn how to delete workspaces in Adobe Photoshop to maintain a focused and organized workspace list.

To keep your workspace list clean, you can delete outdated or unused workspaces. Once deleted, custom workspaces cannot be restored. You must create and save custom workspaces again.

Select the Choose a workspace dropdown menu in the Application bar.

Select Delete Workspace

In the dialog, select a workspace from the dropdown menu, and then select Delete. The workspace is deleted from the workspace list.

Keep your workspace list clean by removing custom workspaces you no longer use.

Preset layouts are useful for common workflows, such as photo editing, painting, or graphic design. Photoshop warns you before deleting a preset workspace.

Note

To restore a preset workspace, select Edit > Preferences > Workspace > Restore Default Workspaces.
