You can create and organize custom presets in Photoshop to reuse your favorite adjustments quickly.

Create a custom preset

Add the desired adjustment to your image.

In the Layers panel, select the adjustment layer you want to save as a preset.

In the Adjustments panel, select the Add icon in the Presets section and select Save.

Select the desired Preset group to save your preset and keep it organized.

Find your saved presets in the Presets panel of Adjustments, where they appear as thumbnails or in list view.

Manage presets

Hover over a preset to preview its effect on the canvas.

Rename or delete a preset in either thumbnail or list view.

Export or import presets

To export, open the presets menu:

  • In List view, select the More .
  • In Icon view, right-click a preset thumbnail.

Choose to export a single preset, a group, or all custom presets.

Save the exported file as a .psap file in the default Photoshop folder or a location of your choice.

To import, return to the Presets menu, select More > Import Presets.
