Hold Alt (Windows) or Option (macOS) and drag the selection to copy it.
Hold Alt or Option and press an arrow key to copy the selection and offset it by 1 pixel.
Hold Alt+Shift (Windows) or Option+Shift (macOS) and press an arrow key to copy the selection and offset it by 10 pixels.
Note
As long as you hold down Alt or Option, each press of an arrow key creates another copy, offset from the last duplicate on the same layer.
