Move guides

Last updated on Oct 27, 2025

Reposition guides precisely using the Move tool to align elements in your Adobe Photoshop document.

Guides help you position elements with precision in your Photoshop documents. Once placed, you can easily move guides to adjust your layout as needed.

Guides appear as non-printing lines that float over your image. Moving guides allows you to create precise layouts and alignments without affecting your actual image content. Guides can be repositioned at any time during your editing process.
