If the modal tool appears, use it to create a different result and press Enter (Windows) or Return (macOS) to record, or keep the same settings.
Adjust the settings in the dialog box and select OK to record or Cancel to retain the values.
Note
By default, recorded and installed actions are saved in the Actions Palette.psp file inside your Photoshop preferences folder. For details, see Preference<insert article here>. It’s good practice to export recorded action (.atn) files so they can be archived or shared.
