Learn to rotate a text layer in Adobe Photoshop to fit creative design angles or break symmetry in minimal layouts.

Select the Move tool and select the text layer you want to rotate.

Hover outside a corner of the bounding box until it turns into a curved arrow like the rotate bottom icon.

Drag the curved arrow to rotate the text.

Tip

Select Window > Contextual Task Bar, to view it and make more precise rotations.

A sample text is rotated and selected in the Layers panel.
Hover around any corner and drag the curved arrow to rotate text.

Select the Commit icon.
