Change text size in panels and tooltips

Learn how to adjust the text size in Adobe Photoshop to improve readability in panels and tooltips.

Adjusting the UI font size enhances readability and reduces eye strain when you’re working on high-resolution displays. This customization also improves navigation comfort and efficiency while using the Photoshop interface.

Select Edit > Preferences > Interface.

Select a UI font size in the Preferences dialog box to adjust text size in Photoshop panels and tooltips.

Select a size from the UI Font Size dropdown menu in the Presentation section:

  • Tiny
  • Small
  • Medium 
  • Large

Select OK.

Select Scale UI To Font to resize the entire Photoshop interface based on the chosen UI font size. 

Note

UI font size changes may depend on your system’s display settings. Restart Photoshop to apply changes.
