Match fonts

Learn how to identify existing fonts in an image and match them with licensed fonts to create editable templates in Adobe Photoshop.

Select the text in your photo with the Rectangular Marquee tool.

Select Type > Match Font. Adobe Photoshop displays a list of fonts similar to the text in your selection.

In the Match Font dialog, you can select a Type Option.

Tip

Uncheck Show fonts available to add from Adobe Fonts to hide fonts from Adobe Fonts and only view the ones available locally on your computer.

Select the font closest to the one you selected in the image.

Select OK.
