Create star shapes

Learn how to draw a star shape with the Star tool and customize it using on-canvas controls in Adobe Photoshop.
Drag on the canvas to draw a star.
Use the settings in the Contextual Task Bar to customize the shape.
- Fill and Stroke: Selects the desired colors.
- Stroke width: Adjusts the thickness of the stroke.
- Set number of sides (or points on a star): Selects the number of tips of the star.
- Corner radius: Adjusts the sharp corners.
- Inner Radius: Defines the depth of the indents between the spikes.
- Outer Radius: Defines the length of the star's spikes.
Note
You can also adjust the points, corner radius, and inner/outer radii from the Options panel.
