Setting
Learn to configure essential settings and backup strategies to protect your work from crashes, power failures, and hardware issues in Adobe Photoshop.
Consult these settings before starting important projects or after experiencing system instability to minimize the risk of losing work due to unexpected crashes, power outages, or hardware failures.
Use auto-recovery settings to reduce data loss during crashes. In addition, select safe storage locations to improve file reliability. You can further protect your work by enabling OS-level backups.
Auto-recovery settings
Adobe Photoshop includes automatic crash recovery that saves your work at specified intervals. Configure these settings in File Handling preferences to ensure your work is saved automatically at regular intervals.
