Share images to Slack from Photoshop

Last updated on Oct 4, 2026

Learn how to use the Slack plugin to send document snapshots directly to channels and direct messages with customizable export settings.

Send your work directly to Slack channels or direct messages without switching applications, streamlining feedback and collaboration workflows.

The Slack for Photoshop plugin captures a snapshot of your document's current visible state and exports it in a customizable format and size. This workflow is ideal for sharing work-in-progress designs with team members or clients who use Slack for communication. For sharing files that require editing or review workflows, use Share > Invite to edit or Share for review instead.

The plugin authenticates through your browser and maintains your sign-in state across sessions. Adjust layer visibility before initiating the export to control which content appears in the shared snapshot.
