Check which Adobe Photoshop on desktop tools, adjustments, and commands work with 32-bit-per-channel HDR images before starting your project.
When working with 32-bit-per-channel (32-bpc) HDR images, verify feature compatibility before beginning your workflow. Not all Photoshop tools and commands support this bit depth.
Adjustments
The following adjustment commands work with 32-bpc HDR images:

Photoshop can open and read LogLuv TIFF files, but cannot save HDR images in this format.

Layer operations
All standard layer operations work with 32-bpc images, subject to the constraints of supported blend modes.
Color modes
32-bpc HDR images support:
- RGB Color (native mode for HDR workflow)
- Grayscale
- Conversion to 8 Bits/Channel or 16 Bits/Channel
Pixel aspect ratio
Both square and non-square pixel aspect ratios are supported in 32-bpc HDR documents.
