Tools with 32-bit support in Photoshop

Last updated on Oct 6, 2026

Find which tools and adjustments work with 32-bit HDR images without requiring conversion.

When working with 32-bit HDR images, verify which tools preserve the extended color and luminance data. Tools not listed here require conversion to 16-bit or 8-bit before use, which reduces dynamic range and color accuracy.

For information about configuring OCIO color management for 32-bit workflows, see OpenColorIO and tools with 32-bit mode. For general HDR image support, see HDR support in Photoshop.
