Explore beyond the canvas with Generative Expand
Expand the dimensions of your image and generate content using text prompts with Generative Expand in Adobe Photoshop on the desktop.
Expand images and add generative content with Generative Expand as part of the Crop tool workflow.
Generative Expand is powered by a new Firefly Fill & Expand model (beta), which yields results with greatly improved photorealistic quality, has a better understanding of complex prompts, and generates more variety in results, so you can explore different directions.
Select Generative Expand from the Contextual Task Bar (Window > Contextual Task Bar).
Generative Expand deducts one standard generative credit per generation.
Type a description of what you want to see created into the prompt text-entry box.
Select Generate and choose from the variations that appear in the Properties panel. The generated content will appear in a new layer.
Use Generative Expand to extend the dimensions your image.
Modify the text prompt and select Generate in the Properties panel, to generate additional variations.
