Improve results with on-device processing

Select File > Open to browse and open an image.

Select Settings > Image Processing (macOS) or Edit > Preferences > Image Processing (Windows) from the main menu.

Select Device from the Select Subject and Remove Background dropdown in the Preferences dialog box.

Note

By default, Photoshop uses Device processing to refine selections.

In the Select and Mask workspace, refine the selection and apply edits.

Select File > Open to browse and open an image.

Select Cloud from the Select Subject and Remove Background dropdown in the Preferences dialog box.
