Insert a non-recordable menu command

Learn more about inserting non-recordable menu commands into an action in Adobe Photoshop to make them run during playback.
Use the Insert Menu Item command to add commands that can’t be recorded directly into an action. These commands run only when the action is played. Playback pauses until you select OK or Cancel if the command opens a dialog box.
From the Actions panel menu, select Insert Menu Item.
In the Insert Menu Item dialog box, open your menu (such as File, Edit, or Image), and select the command to be inserted.
Select OK.
